ANSR (National Road Safety Association) was present at the 50th edition of Portugal Fashion as the Official Responsibility Partner to disclose the big trend: while driving, the cell phone can wait.
The partnership between the Road Safety Authority and the national fashion show is nothing new, having the support of the designer Katty Xiomara since 2021, with the launch of the collection “Safe Drive Experience”. This year, the fashion creator launched new pieces focused on the theme of cell phone use while driving. The message for this edition was marked on each t-shirt and tote bag: “Driving? Phone Off!”.
In addition to the designer’s collaboration, with a collection allied to values of safety and responsibility, ANSR was present at the event with a state-of-the-art simulator, challenging people to drive while writing messages on their cell phones. The challenge was a success, with about 540 laps of the simulator over the four days of the event.
The campaign’s main goal was to raise awareness among the younger generations about the dangers of using cell phones while driving, reinforcing the positioning of the Road Safety Association: a brand that bets on closeness and experimentation, providing experiences that stay in the memory, change behaviors, and save lives.
