After the social interaction and online promotion dynamics, Lu\u00eds Buchinho, Pedro Pedro, Nycole and Carla Pontes have surrendered to the potential of e-commerce and launched their own online shops. The distance separating consumers from individual physical shops and the networks of shops that sell clothes by these four designers is no longer an obstacle to shopping. With this new investment, all you need is a means of accessing the internet so that the fashionistas can send the clothes from the catwalk to your wardrobe at home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In early December, designers Lu\u00eds Buchinho and Pedro Pedro set up their own online shops, just in time for Christmas \u2013 a particularly redoubled effort for Lu\u00eds Buchinho, just a short time after opening his new shop on Rua de S\u00e1 da Bandeira in Porto. After being presented at Portugal Fashion in March, the autumn\/winter collections by these well-known designers are now available online, making shopping much easier and more convenient.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In turn, designer Nycole, who regularly presents her collections at Portugal Fashion’s Bloom, created her nycole.pt platform during the year. After her d\u00e9but at the Paris men’s fashion week in a showroom context last June, the young designer has made her Autumn\/Winter 2017\/18 and Spring\/Summer 2018 available in her online shop. Last May, it was the turn of designer Carla Pontes to see the potential of online shopping and set up her site\u00a0https:\/\/www.carlapontes.com\/shop<\/a>. In just one digital space, the Portuguese designer has brought together items from her collection that is now on sale (Autumn\/Winter 2017\/18) and timeless proposals from previous presentations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The focus on e-commerce has increased exponentially in Portugal. According to a study by the Ecommerce Foundation, 2017 is expected to end with an estimated turnover of 4.7 billion euros, 12% up on 2016. This is a reality that is becoming more and more pronounced in the fashion sector, including the specific area of designer fashion. In fact, Lu\u00eds Buchinho, Pedro Pedro, Nycole and Carla Pontes’ new online shops are just some examples of investments made by national designers and labels in order to streamline a sales channel that complements selling their collections in the shops.<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
