Portugal Fashion continued its international route and was present at Milan Fashion Week, integrating the official presentation calendar of the Italian capital, one of the most demanding stages of the global industry. On September 27, the brands Davii and Pé de Chumbo presented their Spring/Summer 2026 collections at the Major Virtual Tunnel, a former decommissioned metro station that has now begun to establish itself as a cutting-edge venue and that, for the first time, hosted presentations linked to Milan Fashion Week.

This was the second stop on Portugal Fashion’s international calendar, after London and ahead of the debut of its own showroom in Paris, confirming the consistency of the project’s internationalisation strategy.

The presence in Milan highlighted the diversity and vitality of Portuguese fashion, capable of combining different creative languages with the production excellence that distinguishes the Created in Portugal label. Between the architectural and conceptual precision of Davii and the artisanal identity of Pé de Chumbo, Portugal Fashion presented two complementary visions that bore witness to the richness of the national ecosystem.

The presentations by Davii and Pé de Chumbo were part of a continuous programme throughout the afternoon, within Milan’s official calendar, and included different moments of catwalk performance. Davii presented its proposals at 3:15 PM and 4:30 PM, while Pé de Chumbo held performances at 4:00 PM and 5:15 PM, creating a dynamic in which Portuguese fashion asserted itself in an immersive format and in direct dialogue with journalists, buyers, and industry professionals.

Davii unveiled the SS26 collection, “Reimagined Forms”, an aesthetic exploration where avant-garde fused with the organic nature of natural forms. Inspired by the fluidity and complexity of nature, the designer combined neoprene, silk organza, and leather to construct a wardrobe of futuristic silhouettes and sculptural pieces. Ethereal organza dresses engaged in dialogue with structured neoprene coats, within a narrative that celebrated the meeting of technical innovation and aesthetic sensibility, reaffirming the brand’s positioning in the territory of contemporary conceptual experimentation. More than the affirmation of a foreign designer, Davii’s presence in Milan also symbolised the path of someone who chose Portugal to found their brand and company, recognising Portugal Fashion as a gateway platform to the national ecosystem and the global market.

Pé de Chumbo made its debut on Milan’s official calendar with the collection “Femme”, a tribute to feminine duality that balanced power and fragility, courage and sensuality. Intricate lace worked with robust threads, references to corsetry, and bold cuts came together in pieces that evoked memory and tradition, yet were released into modern and daring forms. The colour palette, ranging from beige to black and passing through intense red, shocking pink, and metallics, reinforced the expressive strength of the collection. True to its identity, the brand asserted itself through the artisanal manipulation of raw materials and through the fact that it controls the entire production process within its own manufacturing unit, a distinctive element on the international landscape.

According to Mónica Neto, Director of Portugal Fashion, “Milan has represented a strategic platform of affirmation for Portugal Fashion. This edition reinforced that role, with Davii and Pé de Chumbo underscoring the consistency of our presence on the official calendar and demonstrating the creative and productive vitality that make ‘Made in Portugal’ a trusted reference in the global market.”
