O Concurso de Ecodesign Bloom Portugal Fashion by Famalicão Cidade Têxtil promove, até dia 15 de junho, uma oportunidade destinada a novos designers cuja criatividade é moldada pelas preocupações sustentáveis. A competição é organizada em conjunto com a Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão e em estreita parceria com o CITEVE e tem como prémio final um passaporte para a próxima edição do Bloom, em outubro.
One of the main purposes of this initiative is to value national creation through ecodesign practices, in the light of the innovation of materials, processes, products and forms of communication. Thus, the participating designers will have at their disposal innovative and sustainable materials produced in Portugal, provided by Citeve and by a set of industrial partners from the municipality of Famalicão.
All those interested in the competition will receive a complete dossier with technical sheets, photos and videos of all the materials available, so that they can later submit a creative proposal and a functional proposal for the spring/summer 2022 season, integrating the raw materials chosen.
After sending the application, the jury will select the five dossiers in competition, which will have the opportunity to produce two coordinated, with a final evaluation session, in a public parade, on July 10th, in Famalicão.
The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to present a complete BLOOM collection, of 10 outfits, in the October 2021 edition of Portugal Fashion, and also a financial support of 1,500 euros to support the making of the project.
This contest only marks the launch of Portugal Fashion Sessions - Famalicão Cidade Têxtil, an integrated action that will take place on July 9 and 10, in Famalicão. The programme includes several dynamics, among talks, workshops, showcases, fashion shows and a brandup market.
Os participantes no Concurso de Ecodesign devem ser residentes em Portugal e ter entre 18 e 35 anos. A data limite de participação é até 15 de junho, mas até lá os interessados devem manifestar o seu interesse em www.portugalfashion.com de forma a formalizar o pedido de acesso aos materiais sustentáveis.
