After Milan, Portugal Fashion’s international journey continues in Paris, a nerve centre of global fashion. Between January 22 and 26, the Portugal Fashion Showroom is set up in the Marais, becoming a direct point of contact between Portuguese creation and buyers, press, and industry professionals.
The space was conceived as a platform for work and market. Over five days, Paris hosts a representative showcase of what is being created in Portugal today, combining brands with an established presence and a new generation of creators in a phase of international affirmation.
The 2026 edition brings together names such as BÉHEN STUDIO powered by Lisboa Fashion Week, DAVID CATALÁN, DUARTEHAJIME powered by Lisboa Fashion Week, and SUSANA BETTENCOURT, joined by a set of emerging projects developed within Portugal Fashion’s talent structures. ARIEV FOR LO SIENTO, VEEHANA, and MARIA CARLOS BAPTISTA are part of the INCUBATORS programme, while E.P. ATE’LYER is present as the winner of the BLOOM competition, reinforcing the ongoing commitment to creative renewal.
For the Director of Portugal Fashion, Mónica Neto, “Portugal Fashion’s presence in Paris reflects a continued effort of international construction, based on creative consistency and on the ability of Portuguese brands to position themselves autonomously in the global market. The showroom in the Marais and the integration of a runway show into the official calendar translate a clear ambition to create real contexts of visibility, business, and affirmation for different generations of creators.”
Portuguese presence in Paris gains even greater expression on January 23, at 2:00 PM. Ernest W. Baker presents a runway show integrated into the official calendar, in a decisive moment for the brand’s trajectory. The runway debut confirms its definitive entry into the universe of authorial luxury and projects a creative identity built between Portugal and the global market.
The Autumn Winter 2026 collection, to be unveiled in this runway show, starts from the brand’s origins and from an essential idea of reinterpreting classic clothing, where every cut, material, and detail is deliberately considered. The proposal is constructed as a journey, linking memories of previous seasons to a clear notion of direction and future. Nautical-inspired elements, visible in leather pieces, striped knits, and fastening systems, reinforce a narrative of movement, passage, and exploration. Classic checks appear in different interpretations throughout the collection, crossing garments and accessories and contributing to a cohesive and immediately recognisable identity. The collaboration with Swarovski allows for a deeper exploration of ornamentation, with applications inspired by constellations and shooting stars, introducing a symbolic dimension linked to the idea of orientation, discovery, and continuity at a turning point for Ernest W. Baker.
More than a one-off action, this dual presence, showroom and runway show, underlines Portugal Fashion’s ambition to position Portuguese fashion within the most demanding contexts of the industry.
Paris thus becomes a strategic territory where talent, production, and creative vision meet the international market.
